The Group Chat Vault

THE RULE

Do not forward, post, or quote private group-chat material outside the group without permission.

WHAT THIS MEANS

A group chat is a digital garage with the door closed. Screenshots are evidence only when everyone knows there is a trial.

WHEN IT DOES NOT APPLY

1. Someone makes a credible threat of harm
2. The original sender approves sharing the exact message
3. The material documents serious misconduct that must be reported

EXAMPLES

• VIOLATION: You send the chat's worst joke to a date because you need conversation material.
• NO VIOLATION: You ask the sender before sharing his useful restaurant recommendation with another group.
